Fund Channel, the B2B fund distribution platform owned by Amundi enters into a new partnership with Athora Belgium,a subsidiary of Athora Ltd., an insurance group fully focused on the European life insurance market. Athora group holds €96 billion in AUA (pro forma) as of 30 June 2022.
Athora’s vision is to build a first-class insurance and reinsurance business with a core policyholder protection strategy. Therefore, it invests continuously in infrastructure and new solutions to provide value-added services for its customers.
As of March 2022, Athora Belgium signed a partnership agreement with Fund Channel. Through this agreement, Fund Channel will provide operational support to Athora Belgium in its strong growth in Unit-Linked investment funds business. This agreement will provide enhanced efficiency in its operations and thereby strengthen the attractiveness and competitiveness of Athora’s life insurance business for the ultimate benefit of its unit-linked policyholders.
